SIP – Software for Intellectual Property GmbH has been active in the field of strategic and operative patent work since 1999. The experienced founding team consisting of patent strategists, patent attorneys, researchers and computer scientists aimed to provide small and medium sized companies with professional competition-monitoring tools. The idea of the Invention Navigator was born.
The first step in competition monitoring is finding the relevant patent data. Hereby the main objective is the completeness and the quality of the results. Thus a powerful research is a requirement. Clear presentation of the results as well as flexible processing options provide an efficient way of handling and thus the acceptance of the system.
To meet these requirements we opted for an individual patent database in combination with a research solution from the start.
